I ordered from Lilac St. the product looked fine when it first arrived. I followed the instructions and cleaned the surface before applying it, so I wasn’t expecting any issues.
It stuck for a little while, but then the edges started lifting quickly. I’m disappointed because I expected it to last longer, and I do feel like an apology or some kind of acknowledgment from the company would be fair.

"Everything felt kind of the same"
I was hoping to find something a little different, but most of the styles felt really similar to each other. After a while I just felt like I was looking at the same thing over and over. Weirdly, I remember there was one display with a tiny crooked price tag that I kept noticing more than the clothes. Overall, just not much variety and boring.

This was not the best choice for a beginner like me. I was trying to follow along, and within what felt like five minutes, I was completely lost and questioning every decision that led me here. Maybe it works better if you already know what you're doing, but for me, it was a whole dramatic struggle.

"Starter kit didn’t stick out as very helpful"
I picked up the starter kit thinking it would make getting started easier, but looking back, I mostly remember feeling like a lot of the items were kind of random. Some of it didn’t really seem useful for a beginner, and I don’t remember it helping much with the actual setup or first steps.

It looked really good when I first got it, and I did like it overall. The wear just didn’t last quite as long as I was hoping. Not bad by any means, just more of an okay purchase than a standout one.

Ordered two dresses from lilacst.com, but both showed up in the wrong size and one was a completely different color. Packing slip was right, so no clue what happened. Super annoying and not worth the hassle.

"Cute, but I’m being cautious with it"
The order itself was totally fine and the item looked cute, but after wearing it for a bit, the fabric started making my neck feel itchy and a little red. It wasn’t anything major, but I have sensitive skin, so I’m probably going to be careful and not wear it for too long at a time.

They feel comfortable at first, so I thought they were going to be great. But after wearing them a few times, I noticed the same thing keeps happening: after a few hours, they start to get itchy. Not unbearable, but definitely enough that I’m aware of it.

Customer service was slow, they weren’t much help. I kept asking for updates and mostly got vague answers back, then nothing that actually fixed the issue. Felt like they kind of brushed it off, which was really frustrating.

"The bond just took too long to dry"
I really wanted to like Lilac St, but the bond drying time was frustrating. It stayed tacky for way longer than I expected, and the whole lash application started to feel messy and annoying. I kept waiting, but my lashes were still shifting around, which kind of told me this just wasn’t going to be worth the effort. Maybe I missed something, but for me, it was more hassle than it was worth.

"I got lost quickly"
I tried using lilacst.com and, yeah... I got annoyed faster than I expected. The instructions just weren’t very clear, so I kept stopping and thinking, wait, what am I supposed to do now? It felt like some steps were missing or maybe explained in a way that only makes sense if you already know how the site works. For a regular user just trying to figure it out, it’s confusing. Not a great experience for me...

lilacst has some nice stuff, but I’d say a couple of the items I was interested in were out of stock when I checked. The site is fine overall, I just wish the inventory felt a bit more up to date so I’m not getting my hopes up and then finding out it’s not available

"Knew right away the packaging was a problem"
The second my order from lilacst.com showed up, I could tell the packaging was bad. It was just in this thin mailer with basically no padding, and the box inside was crushed like it had been thrown around the whole way here. For the price I paid, my snap judgment was that this was not okay.

They looked really nice at first, so I was happy with them. But after a while, my natural lashes started feeling thinner, and I’m sure they got a bit damaged.

"Taking it off was such a pain"
The removal part was what really ruined this for me. It looked good at first and I was happy with it, but getting it off was a whole different thing.

I followed the directions and still ended up picking at this and that way more than I wanted to. My nails felt weak afterward, and there was still that sticky stuff left behind.

I probably wouldn’t buy it again just because of that. I really expected it to come off a lot cleaner and easier

I don’t know why, but the item I ordered from Lilac St. just felt a lot cheaper in person than it looked in the photos. The material was really thin, and the stitching looked kind of messy too. I washed it once and it already started looking worn out, which was disappointing. I wouldn’t order it again

"Not reusable like I hoped"
I ordered this from lilacst.com thinking I’d get at least a few uses out of it, but it was pretty much done after the first time. It started looking worn right away and just didn’t feel sturdy at all. For the price, I expected better quality, so I wouldn’t buy it again

"Canceling was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I tried canceling my subscription twice and still ended up getting charged again. The account page kept sending me in circles, and support took forever to get back to me. A friend had actually recommended the service to me, so I was disappointed with how messy the cancellation process turned out to be.
